| | Do you have a Canon Digital Camera Problem? Then read it | | Hey!We have bought a canon power shot A70 last year from US best buy but this May we suddenly found its LCD is gone, I cant see any picture thru my LCD, only some horizental lines are comming up. Then I surfed a lot in net to get some solution and found in the Canon US and Canon Uk site that it is a manufacturer defect not only for power shot but a lot other canon series digital camera as well and they are providing free service for this whether you have warranty or not-that doesnt matter. But the canon US is paying the potsal cost for sending the camera to the service center and get back it after repairing where as the UK is not. But anyway, now I have to send mine to them quickly. I dont know how long they will give this free service.
Anybody here has a problem like this? Then go to canon.com or canon.co.uk and get the instruction.

| Ghost Hunting - entity captured on digital camera | | Last night (+8.00 GMT) I had to leave my PC because one of my friends asked for my help. I consider myself as a part time psychic ghost hunter since 2003 after one of my sons was seriously attacked by three entities. To those who are sceptical about the existence of ghosts, look at this as just another story. His neighbour has been using witchcraft to destroy his family's life. The night before a new entity sent by the family attacked his wife, partly because his wife is on the rag. Two of his other sons who are also psychic hunters under my guidance were not able to defeat the entity. His third son managed to capture several images of this entity using a Canon digital camera at 4.0 megapixels It was shrouded. Last night several images were also captured using my LZ9 at 8 megapixels. This was my first time having such images captured on camera. After around two hours of battle the entity returned to its master. Before that we managed to get a view of her face. It looked like the face of the neighbour's wife (she also knew how to cast spells), dark skinned and unkempt wavy hair.Has any of you experienced any encounters with the unseen? Have any of you managed to... | |

| | 13MP camera, more than enough MP? | | To me, I feel that a digital camera of around 8-10 MP is more than enough for a casual user. I have a 8MP Canon digital camera, and I am quite satisfied with the quality. A camera with more MP will generate larger photos, and they are usually big in size. When I set my camera to the highest settings, the average size of the photo will be around 2-3mb. This can be quite irritating when you are uploading photos onto the internet, or in an email. Photos will end up compressed and yet without losing much quality. With more digital cameras in the 13MP tier, do you think that a 13MP camera is enough? | |

| Which is better, Sonny or Canon? | | Everyone, I plan to buy a new digital camera. Could you tell me which one is better, Sony or Canon, or even some others that have similar price, at around 100 - 200 US dollars. Would you tell me which one is the best? | |
| | Which Digital Camera is best performing now? | | I am looking to buy a digital camera for my personal use, not a costly one within 10K (INR). I have a 3MP digital camera of Kodak now, but now I want to buy about 6-7 mega pixel camera.
Some friends suggested Nikon L12 good going now, some said Sony cybershots, some insist on Olympus. I am too much confused to choose the better one and the best performing model. Anyone using Digital Camera or have some good idea of brands, please help me to choose one.
| | Wow! What a deal I got today! | | We are the last of the old camera families. We have not had a digital camera. They have always been too expensive. I got a flyer this week from The Source by Circuit City. They had advertised digital cameras for under $200 and a photo printer for $59.99. I thought that was a good deal so I wandered into the store today. They didn't know anything about the photo printer. What they did have was "Buy a Canon digital camera and get a printer for free". Yes, FREE! And this was not just a photo printer, this can be hooked up to my computer to print off documents as well. The camera was priced on the shelf for $239 but when she checked the computer she found that it was on sale (the flyer has it on sale for $239) for $179. I couldn't believe my luck! Along with the camera I purchased a memory card that holds 300 photos and a battery charger with 4 pre-charged batteries and a camera case. In total I spent $333 (Canadian prices)!I remember the days when digital cameras first came on the market and they were $500 and up. I was so thrilled to get these at these prices. The digital camera also does movie and audio.I know we don't have the money to spend but my mother gifted me some... | |
