I wouldn't think so. The clarity of digital cameras are amazing and cannot be achieved by camera phonesNo, because price of quality digital camera (not yet in market) plus phone will be higher than simple digital camera.
When my daughter was born I didn't have my own camera, but at least my in-laws was able to take pictures of her when she was a newborn after three months I bought a regular camera temporarily so I can at least take pictures of her as she grows....
