| | Digital camera vs. 35mm camera | | I recently got a new digital canon rebel camera. I was so excited to finally get my first digital one, thinking it should take beautiful pics since my old 35mm canon did, quite effortlessly I might add. I quickly discovered that digital is much harder to work with than 35mm. To get a good closeup thats in focus can be quite trying since digital is more sensitive than 35 and any camera shake shows up easily. Also the pictures show every detail now of everything. So editing is required of many photos. Anyone else notice these differences? | |

See, I've been dying to get a digital SLR Canon EOS Rebel EX 18-55 mm lens kit, or a digital SLR Nikon D3000 18-55 mm lens kit for a while now. If I confused you, those are the digital SLR (single lens reflex) camera models that I've been wanting.
I dream about taking a picture with them all the time.
I wonder what it feels like to be a proud SLR owner.
I go to Canon and Nikon.com, put those models in my cart and pretend to check out just to practice for the real thing.
Photography is my main hobby and I can't wait to get my first SLR camera, my first REAL photographer's camera. Right now I'm using a cheap Kodak Easyshare C913, which was fine for general picture taking, but I'm ready to move up from general photographer, to ameatur. I'm ready for my SLR.
The total cost: About $500
So far saved: $90
I've been saving every penny I own to begin my expensive journey into the world of serious photography.

We are disagreeing over the camera.
I have had a good google search, and although there is plenty of info re the CANON A75, I cant find the date it was marketed. The year will do. I had a thought it was around 2004.Thanks to anyone who can help.
